Professional Malpractice

When an attorney acts with negligence in handling (or not handling!) your case, and you are damaged as a result, you may have a claim against him/her for legal malpractice.

Common cases are when an attorney misses a crucial time deadline (called a “statute of limitations”), causing you to lose your right to file the claim, or when the attorney ignores the case for so long that the case is dismissed by the court for “failure to prosecute.”

If you think you may have a legal malpractice case against your former attorney, call us to schedule a free consultation to discuss the matter.  If we accept your case, we will take the case on a contingency fee basis, which means we will take a percentage of any recovery.  You will pay us nothing if there is no recovery.

Call us if you would like to speak to an experienced attorney about your potential matter.

An AV rating is the highest available, meaning that the lawyer is
recognized by her peers as having achieved preeminent legal
ability and very high ethical conduct. Only about 20% of all
lawyers who have been rated have achieved an AV rating.
